Panel Discussion - Finding Your Fit

The Accounting Department and the Accounting Club will be hosting an panel discussion on November 5th. The panel of speakers will include representatives from the Big 4 and mid-sized accounting firms. Please join us in attending a great session to learn more about the accouting industry.

Monday, October 6th

There are two great presentations lined up this week. Please join us in attending both the presentations. Miller Cooper is hosted by the Accounting Club and Ernst and Young is hosted by Ascend.

Representatives from Audit and Tax service lines will be present to share their experiences and to meet UIC accounting students. Dress to impress and bring your resumes! You will have a chance to meet the reps. following the presentation

KPMG, a BIG 4 public accounting firm, will be on campus.This is not a regular presentation.  KPMG will be holding an " info session" and will be recruiting for jobs straight from the presentation!! KPMG is waiting for this event to select their candidates.  They are sending 2 recruiters and will provide food as well!

Reminder for Career Expo

Wednesday, August 27th

Today the first Career Expo event will be held in SCE 3rd floor. The event has been put together by the Business Career Center, Office of Career Services, Accounting Club and the Collegiate Finance Organization. Welcome to another great year at UIC. We hope you had a great summer break and are excited about starting the new acadamic year. We here at the Accounting Club would like to take the opportunity to introduce the club to you.

The Accounting Club is a pre-professional and social club for accounting majors. We help foster relationships between students and firms, and provide the needed resources to improved this relationship. Active participation contributes to the academic, professional and social success of the accounting student. The main objective of the club is to establish relationships between students and accountants in industry and public accounting.
